These terms apply to all purchases from the Good Karma Company online store. By placing an order you agree to them. Full company details are on our Company Information page.
1. Products and descriptions
We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Natural products such as spices and teas vary slightly from harvest to harvest in colour and aroma. Ingredients, allergens and net weight are shown on each product page and pack. Please check them before buying.
2. Prices
All prices are in South African rand and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. If a price is listed incorrectly because of an obvious error, we'll contact you before processing the order.
3. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch by email. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if an item is out of stock, a price error occurred or we suspect fraud.
4. Payment
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. Orders are dispatched once payment has cleared.
5. Delivery
Delivery is covered by our delivery policy. Risk passes to you on delivery.
6. Returns and cooling-off
Your rights to return goods, including cooling-off rights under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and the exclusions for perishable and opened goods, are set out in our returns policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
7. Product information, not advice
Information on our site about traditional uses of spices, teas and other products is shared for interest only. It is not medical advice, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
8. Promotions and gift cards
Discount codes are subject to their stated conditions, can't be exchanged for cash and can't be combined unless stated. Gift cards are valid for three years from purchase.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, images and the Good Karma Company name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be used without permission.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our site or products. This doesn't exclude liability that can't be excluded under South African law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
